Build Your Own Gaming Notebook

What is the bomb gaming laptop/notebook?

I need a laptop/notebook for gaming. It'd be nice if it had the Compact disc reader. If it work's well with java and other such programs it would rock! The internet finder thingy should work well too. I don't really care about battery power and that stuff. If there is something like this below $600 it would be nice. :P thanks

  1. Dell XPS or Alienware

  2. all the super bomb gaming laptops are above 1000. for rock solid gameplay on high graphics i recommend asus G73jh. is really powerful, and starts at 1500 and it contains most powerful mobile processor and graphics. For more expensive and more cosmetic design go for alienware. For under 600 a good brand would be Toshiba or gateway for budget gaming. Its not really gaming but closest to gaming for price range. or check this out

  3. Forget the over priced Alien ware laptops that Dell bought out too salvage sinking sales due to using crap parts for years and snowing the public with hype. Alien laptops are now made by Dell and it is silly to buy something so way over priced because it looks cool. HP is also sketchy and is now rated at the bottom of the ladder in quality and performance. You want quality and high performance for a reasonable cost. . Toshiba has both and is rated top. The second highest rated is the new Asus product line of laptops. I would go too Staples and pick up a quad core Toshiba that would come with 3 gigs of DDR3 ram which is double the speed of DDR2 memory. You would get a hard drive that is 3.5 gigs as well, and all quality parts. Price is 675. The machine fly's, makes toast, and will even make your bed. In short, it rocks. The price is right on your target. Next, for the same cost, you could look into Asus. Amazon dot com is a good start if you buy new. Also, the Asus site itself. These 2 are great machines. Next, and last would be Acer. Hope this helped.
