Should I Buy My Own Gaming Laptop Or Build My Own?
I was wondering if i should buy my own gaming laptop or should i build my own? ok what i was looking at was getting a Dell XPS M1730 is that good or not? Or should I make my own and if you think that's what i should do (make my own) than can you give me a website that has everything I need to do to make my own such as what exactly i need to do like how to build it and everything needed to build it the game i was going to build was Guild Wars and i would like to have max requirements. BTW i only hav a limited budget (not much btw) and if you know of a cheaper just as good gaming laptop that would be great. sorry if this is long and confusing i just need to know what to do and answers excepted except stuff like "gaming laptops stink get a notebook" i don't want a note book or one that is not portable because im all ways moving. ANYWAY THANKS FOR THE HELP BEST ANSWER GETS A COOKIE!!!!!

- hrmm, well it depends on how much you wanna spend. I think you can build a laptop thats just about equal in quality as a laptop you can buy. Its gunna be much cheaper, just gotta do the work putting it together and installing stuff.
- laptops are a bit harder to build or customize unless you know what you're doing...
If you are serious about gaming, you should get the model above. =]
- Making your own laptop is COMPLETELY different from building your own desktop. Laptops are specifically engineered to be small and have all the pieces fit together. There is no standard like with desktops, so you cannot just buy pieces and put it together. There are do-it-yourself-kits where you basically just add the RAM, hard drive, and CPU to a kit, but these can be expensive. I'd recommend just buying a laptop.
- I would say build it cause you can get your requirements for the game and it might be cheaper then the ones you have to buy. You could built your a couple of laptops at http://www.shopping.hp.com/webapp/shopping/computer_can_series.do?storeName=computer_store&category=notebooks&a1=Operating+System&v1=Windows+Vista+Home+Premium&series_name=dv5t_series
