Build Your Own Gaming Notebook

What laptop/notebook is a good gaming laptop/notebook ?

I'm considering buying a new good gaming laptop/notebook and I don't know what to choose. My budget is good but I still want to save some money if it is possible. I will also use this laptop for studying and other entertainment (surfing internet, download and upload pics, visit website like facebook...). Which one should I choose ? Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated ...

  1. ok firstly compaq or hp computers/labtops work better than all others basically if you want a good gaming experiece your gonna need 500mb+ graphics on it 2+gb ram and 300+gb memory that should make your labtop very good for gaming

  3. The most important thing to look at for any gaming laptop is the graphics adapter- since unlike desktops it cannot be upgraded later, it's important to get the best one your budget can accomodate.

The graphics adapter is more important than the CPU for obtaining high framerates in games. No matter how much CPU power you've got, once the video adapter can't process pixels any faster, your performance is capped.

For a gaming laptop, look for at least a GeForce 9600M or Mobility Radeon 3650. Here's a list of mobile graphics adapters' gaming performance, with the best ones listed first. Also note the link at the top of the page for benchmarks.

Dell's gaming laptops are usually overpriced. I suggest looking at the Gateway P series FX laptops, Asus laptops, Toshiba laptops and maybe Sony. The Toshiba models linked by the previous poster look quite good.

Also check out Cyberpower PC, they specialize in gaming systems- both desktop and laptop.

Unfortunately the overwhelming majority of laptops have weak graphics adapters which aren't designed for gaming.

  7. First of all, there do has good gaming laptop/notebook for you.

Which laptop to choose depends on two things:

    1. Your budget for the gaming laptop/notebook

    2. What games you wanna play (high-end games or normal games)

Since your budget is good, you have more choices in high-end(top) gaming laptops if you play high-end games. At the same time, gaming laptop has the great capacity to handle everything very well than other laptops because gaming requires more than other uses in hardwares.

Currently you can choose a good gaming laptop from Dell Alienware, ASUS or Gateway. You may want to choose one for yourself according to your budget so I add the source for your reference ...

  8. Dell laptop is the best for gaming!!!

Alienware is too expensive and others are not good enough!!!

  9. The best one is Alienware M17X.

Alienware kills every game. It is designed for gaming ...
