Can Intel Centrino Core 2 Duo Notebooks Handel PC Games that require P4's?

I want a gaming notebook but if i cant run games that require P4's i may have to get a desktop. Also What about the supported video cards that are no on the list like the Nivida Go series that says there not supported by the game.
