How good of a gaming laptop is this (a desktop is not an option for me)? - i messed up on the first post.?

My budget is $1500, feel free to suggest other laptops in my price range. I do not know alot about computers. Sorry for the repeated post, i messed up on my frist one. 2. good processor, very nice RAM, good graphics card.

   the graphics card is the weak spot, but since it supports direct x 10, it salvages itself. other than that, nice.

   It can play any game on the market today. That graphics card is probably about as fast as a 7600gt, but even that will play the day's most demanding pc games, in my opinion Oblivion and Supreme Commander.

   use the program called FRAPS (download it, google it) in order to get your framerate in every game you play. I have it on ALL the time, and now I am pretty good at judging a pc by its FPS in most big name games.

   1 gig of RAM will hurt a lot. these days, 2 gigs is an absolute must. i had 1.5 gigs of ddr 400, and load times are noticably quicker with my new 2 gigs of ddr2 667.



3. good processor, 2gb of ram is a very good choice, good graphics. if u can afford it up the processor to the highest u can afford. keep the 2gb. check out cyberpowerpc.com for good prices


4. I'll say that’s a good laptop for games. The best gaming laptop will cost over $4000 but that’s over kill in price. The specs you stated are what I'll buy for myself to start with. I personally like Dells the best.
