Build Your Own Gaming Notebook

Desktop or notebook(laptop)?

hey. ive got a toshiba laptop with a celeron M processor and like 700Mb ram. its ok, plays some games but not the newer stuff. i can buy and build a new desktop and it'll be nice. but im at a dilema. should i keep the laptop, i love the mobility of it like none other, or get the desktop with the true processing power. i just cant decide!! no i cant buy a gaming notebook (costs too much), and no, i cant keep both. thank you! i cant keep both cause im going to sell the laptop to pay for part of the desktop. (i dont have much money, still in high school. heh)

  1. Even if you could find a gaming laptop it would probably be unable to run the new games next year! The whole concept of laptops was to perform work on the go. The last thing on Earth I would do if I wanted to play PC games is buy a laptop. I am not understanding why you cant keep both but if you want serious gaming power, build a new desktop! You can build a serious gamer PC that will run with the best for 600 bucks easy!

  2. me i had my desktop for years because it is easier to enter into new or updated games

  3. Personnally I can help but I cant make the discision for you. If you want to take gaming on the Go stay with the Notebook. But if you want Power, and Graphics go with an HP desktop even thow its stationary it is a little bit more powerful and needed. Thats bassiclly all I can help with until you make a discision!

  5. If you're a hardcore gamer, get a desktop. Personally, I would save myself some money and stick with the laptop and stop playing games.

  6. buy new desktop. or have someone build it
