Lapdesk + volume mixer problem?

I got myself an Asus gaming laptop >>http://www.asus.com/Notebooks/Gaming_Powerhouse/G53SW/<< (I'm no geek so I can't figure how to describe it =P). Anyway I bought a Lapdesk cooler/built in sound card thingy to go with it >>http://www.logitech.com/en-gb/notebook-products/cooling-pads/devices/6394<< becuase I have bad experiences with laptops/computers sound cards busting or over heating from the epic online gaming/streaming/multiple tabs being open. Well I've used the lapdesk with the with the Asus laptop and the sound it gives off is amazing. great base and all. However it counts as 2 sound cards running at same time and I only want one. Because id get music coming from one and game sound coming from another. One day I fixed that playing with the volume mixer and can't change it back. Question is: How do I change the mixer to play my applications using my lapdesk rather than laptop speakers. (I tried going to mixer and I clicked the speaker arrow, it shows the lapdesk device but no programs running in it) Dang it. I miss having that deep base I get while playing a strategy game with cannons going off or the deep base I get with Underground dance music such as Dubstep or hardstyle. If no one can figure it out ill try posting it again in a few days-week. Also is this the best category to fit it in? Ok I've found it out. Follow this path: Control Panel\Hardware and Sound\Devices and Printers (or at least for my windows 7). Then set the default to the sound device you want to play from. When unplugged or what not it changes back but if plugged back in BAM it works again =P.
