Asus notebook purchase help.....?
hi there i was looking to buy a brand new Asus G73JH for my personal use and wanted to know a few things ... 1. Since the laptop is not available in India, I will most probably be getting it from UK. So I wanted to know how can I get it serviced if I experience some issues... 2. How is the build quality of asus laptops... I mean are they sturdy enough for rough handling.. 3. How good is the performance of the ATi Radeon 5870. Will I be a ble to play most games on high and full HD 4. And, most importantly is it value for money or can I get a better one in the same price range(about USD 1500-1600) Thanks a lot for your help in advance :-)

- asus has great customer support, if your out of there area they may charge you shipping where as normally they pay it both ways, but i think they would still fix it for you. I love asus as a brand and they have really good quallity lap tops and service. never had a problem with them, and being a total nerd that all my friends and family goes to for computer help, never had a problem with them. dont confuse them with acer they are the worst brand ever, im always fixing those. anyway, they are good quality and durable. asus is a brannd built for gaming computers as opposed to others that focus on buisness (like dell) etc. the radeon card im sure is very very fast, and can play anything you need it to.

It is always advisable to purchase the things which can be serviced here to avoid the hassle involved in getting it repaired. There are lot of options ti choose from here in India. So, consider it before taking any decision.
