Build Your Own Gaming Notebook

Will I be able to play any games on my new notebook PC? [Specs included]?

I have so many problems trying to play games on my PC; it's old and can hardly handle web-based/flash-based games, let alone today's newest games (like Crysis, NFS:UC, FEAR). So I ordered an Alienware M17 notebook but a friend told me they are crap; now I worry it will be just as bad as my current PC. I don't know how to read the specs but I have them here for both: *=new CPU- 1.2Ghz CPU*- Dual 2.53Ghz GPU- nVidia GeForce 6600GT GPU*- Dual ATi Radeon HD3870 CrossfireX 15" CRT Monitor w/ built in speakers 17" WUXGA 1920x1200(1200p) w/ ClearView* Windows XP Home Windows Vista Ultimate(64-bit)* 512Mb RAM 4GB RAM* Thanks for your help! 100GB Hard-drive 20GB Hard-drive 320GB Hard-drive* Sorry that I didn't included that originally.

  1. ull be fine ive played halo on med graphics on a 1.6ghz laptop dont worry about it

  2. definitly the ram is a big and must and it depends on the hardrive space for storage as games now days are near 3gb but seeing the specs im guessing its a 250gb or a 500?
