Alienware notebook versus Macbook.? Okay homeslices, I need some help. I'm looking into investing big bucks into a laptop. I'm down to Alienware or Mac. I'm a small time gamer, but I run decently large programs besides that. I customized a Alienware and this is what it looks like. My mac choice looks like this 2.66GHz Intel Core i7 8GB 1066MHz DDR3 SDRAM - 2x4GB 500GB Serial ATA Drive @ 7200 rpm SuperDrive 8x (DVD±R DL/DVD±RW/CD-RW) MacBook Pro 15-inch Hi-Res Antiglare Widescreen Display Backlit Keyboard (English) & User's Guide That comes out to about 2800 dollars. I just want the best hardware. I plan on replacing the OS with Ubuntu anyway to make a mad fast computer. Can wait to hear your answers. :D
